Luna is about education.
Our goals are simple. Explore the sky, learn something, have some fun.
We're passionate about science and astronomy. Science and Astronomy are never boring. They're fun, exciting and stimulating. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.
What are we about? We're convinced that you don't need a University degree or a big, expensive telescope to get started. You can do it today. Now. Just go outside and look up. See that big hot ball of gas in the sky? It's the Sun, a star, just like so many of the others that twinkle in the night sky except, of course, that it's a lot closer.
What do we do? We organise public access events that are designed to help members of the public experience astronomy first hand. We visit schools and local societies where we talk about astronomy, what you can see in the sky and how you can go about seeing the heavens first hand.
Who can do astronomy? Anyone can! Anyone can do science. Anyone can do astronomy.
